Zerosum Recordings is an independent recording and production service focused on capturing artists with clarity, character, and attention to detail. The studio works across music production, mixing, mastering, and sound design, with a particular interest in rock, psych rock, cinematic sound, and artist-led projects that require a thoughtful, creative approach.

 

Founded by Jason Shuttleworth, Zerosum Recordings combines technical precision with a strong understanding of tone, arrangement, and sonic identity. Each project is approached individually, whether that means developing a track from the ground up, refining a mix, delivering a polished master, or creating audio for visual media.

 

Alongside studio-based work, Zerosum Recordings offers a mobile recording service, enabling artists to be captured in rehearsal spaces and familiar environments without sacrificing quality or professionalism. The aim is simple: to help artists and creators realise work that sounds focused, finished, and true to their vision.
